Laurie joined Employers Council in 2019 with over 20 years of HR generalist experience. She served in HR leadership roles in various industries, ranging from boat manufacturing to the ski resort business. She advises and trains members on a variety of HR matters, including compensation, leadership, employee retention, and Colorado initiatives, including FAMLI and Colorado Secure Savings.
Laurie is certified through the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society of Human Resources Management, and Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) through the Plan Sponsor Council of America.
Laurie volunteers with Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassadors Network and the River Church’s Manna Café, and is a volunteer dog walker for the Longmont Humane Society. She enjoys golf, skiing, hiking and beach vacations.
