As an individual who has worked within the payroll field for close to 25 years, I have been fortunate to work my way from Customer Service Manager in Payroll to Director of Payroll.
During this time, have been fortunate to take on many tasks including, but not limited to Payroll Manger, Training & Development Manager, Payroll Tax Processing, Unemployment, Workers' Compensation, Auditing, and more. This has allowed me work with many different industries across the nation.
The majority of my career focused around the PEO Industry which allowed for clients to focus more on their business, while allowing my teams to handle the back-end processes pertaining to everyday payroll practices.
In my down time, I hike 5 miles a day, engrave glass, spend time with my family and friends, as well as taking time for myself. It is a balance, and a balance I feel I have accomplished quite well. However, there have been obstacles I faced throughout my journey.
The best way I can describe it, is at the end of each year, we close one chapter and begin a new chapter the next year. We are writing our own stories, and mine continues to have many chapters.
