In 2022 Employers Council members created close to 400 community discussions on Member Central. Members sought recommendations from others in the Open Forum (Payroll and HR System You Love?), discussed new laws in the regional boards (Requirement to post “promotional opportunities” in Colorado), and explored specific areas of attention in the industry boards (Exempt Employees in the Public Sector).
Following a community, joining, and starting a conversation in Member Central is easy and a great opportunity to connect with other practitioners in your field. For information on controlling the frequency of emails, viewing which communities you are subscribed to, and other useful tips for engaging, see the Communities/Discussions FAQs on the Member Central Help page.
In 2023, Employers Council will introduce communities for small employers and other special-interest groups as we continue to provide forums that help our members engage in meaningful collaboration.
Among the hundreds of resources available to Employers Council members, the 2022 Benchmark Compensation survey was a clear favorite, with close to 10,000 views and downloads. Members also viewed new whitepapers like the Colorado FAMLI Overview and resource guides like the Employers Guide to Managing Workplace Mental Health by the thousands.
Employers Council resources include checklists, policy guides, whitepapers, ready-to-use-forms, a job-description builder, and other research tools. These resources are organized in Member Central by topic. View Topical Resources or download our Topical Resource Guide to access our expansive collection of resources.
In 2023, Employers Council will continue to provide regularly updated surveys and resources, and we look forward to introducing new whitepapers currently in development, along with new versions of our popular Quick Fact guides.
