Employers Council’s 2022 Information Technology Compensation survey collected data from 386 organizations on 105 benchmark positions.
Data in the survey are reported by information technology department size and geographic location. The 2022 survey includes Denver/Boulder, Northern Colorado, Southern Colorado, Colorado’s Western Slope, Colorado Resort areas, Arizona, Utah, and Wyoming. The report displays data lines for each geographic location and All Front Range, All Colorado, and Total Response data lines. In addition, the compensation information is displayed by the number of IT employees: fewer than five, 5-10, 11-20, 21-50, and 51 or more. The survey gathered base wages effective January 1, 2022.
Included in the Survey:
Annual Incentive – Participants were asked to provide annual incentives for the past fiscal/calendar year. Data reported are average incentives paid and the number of employees receiving an incentive.
Target % Incentive – Participants were asked to provide targeted percentage figures for additional compensation, not earned income for the current year.
FLSA Classification – Participants were asked to identify their matched position as exempt or non-exempt.
